Thanos Tasakos is a graduate of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). In his diploma thesis he studied and applied Swarm Intelligence algorithms for the optimisation of traffic lights on a road network for improved vehicular throughput. He is currently working on the application of deep reinforcement learning algorithms and neural networks to the traffic domain.
